Freeport, Bahamas - Holiday Auto Ltd., the official Volkswagen Importer for the Bahamas launched two new models.

Holiday Auto expressed its claim that behind all Volkswagen vehicles there are people that invest efforts and passion in designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing their vehicles. To reflect this claim, Holiday Auto Ltd. decided not to introduce these vehicles at a car show or a normal business event, but at the Casual Cal’s Bumpin’ Big Show Circus, held at St. George’s Auditorium in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

At the end of the circus the Majestic Crusaders Junkanoo Troupe with some 30 members strong took the stage with an awesome performance as they led the crowd out of the St. George’s auditorium onto the lawn to view the Volkswagen fleet of cars assembled there with headlights on arranged in a semi circle all brand spanking new.

The crowd was thick around the Majestic Crusaders as they excitedly danced around our new cars Sunday evening.
One of the new models is the 2011 Polo, a 4 door hatchback with 1,4 l engine and a 7-speed automatic double clutch gearbox.

This vehicle with the current Volkswagen design features, comes with a very low fuel consumption of 42mpg (combined) and up 47mpg(hwy). Holiday Auto Ltd. said that focusing on low consumption and emissions with help to protect the environment and nature in the Bahamas as well as make operating a vehicle more affordable.

The second new ly launched vehicle is the new Jetta Clasico. That vehicle is produced in Mexico and a successor to the previous Jetta which is very common in The Bahamas. Volkswagen said it will continue to provide the known quality and reliability, with a complete makeover.
