| Safety CellThe passenger compartment (yellow) is the space in which the vehicle passengers sit. It forms a "rigid" safety cage. Unlike the body crumple zones (red/green), it is difficult to deform, and is therefore able to maintain a survival zone for the occupants up to a certain force in the case of an accident. The behaviour of the passenger compartment is optimised amongst other things by means of a crash test. |
